However, even with budget as a factor, my recommendation will always be based on the quality and care of the linens provided.  poorly laundred, stained or worn looking linens can ruin the overall look of your special event, which in the end, isn't worth the savings if you aren't completely happy with the end result.

Trust me, if there is a stain, no matter how beautiful the tablescape may be, your guests will look to see if there are other stains anywhere else on the linen and yes wish that they weren't sitting directly in front of it. (It's human nature to spot the negative aspect once one is noticable.)
